Move servers to Azure keeping the IP address

    Question

  • Hi,

    Scenario:

All of the servers at datacenter are in the same subnet.

80% of the servers will be moved to Azure (aprox 50 servers).

The customer require to keep the server IP address.

    The question is:

Is it possible to move servers from on-premise to Azure keeping the IP adress? (the server's IP address must be the same).

    Thanks in advance!

  • Yes It's possible to extend your local DC network to Azure using express route.

however you can't use the same network address space in Azure that you have in Datacenter using VPN but i guess you have some flexibility in Azure Express route.
