SMTP Mail servers stuck on Mailroot Queue - RDNS issue RRS feed

    Hi 

    We are trying to send email from SMTP mail server from Azure VM (Windows 2012 R2). The Emails were fine for few days. now all emails are stuck on mail root queue. 

    Received: from ServerName ([127.0.0.1] RDNS failed) by Servername.domain.local with Microsoft SMTPSVC(x.x.xxxx.xxxx);

    How can we fix this issue

    You could remote the Azure VM, in the IIS manager, SMTP Virtual Server > Properties > Delievery > check the Outbound Connections.

    Perhaps the issue is related that the option for Limit number of connections towas checked and the value was 0.

    Try to restarted the SMTP.
