The value of Low disk space limitation settings via regedit.exe does not work RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, There

I Google this setting, it is said:

You can modify the default threshold so that Windows can report alert whenever the free disk space is less than the limit specified by you. We just need to modify the registry and provide the percentage value of our choice.

    • KEY Name: HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters
    • Registry Entry: DiskSpaceThreshold
    • Data Type: REG_DWORD
    • Value: 0-99 Percent

    Click me for details.

I set the value to 50(decimal)(What I expect the event would be triggered when free space of D driver less than 50% , but it seems does not work, the event always only be triggered when space less than 10%.
