Windows Phone Application Certification incorrect RRS feed

  • Question

  • To the Windows Phone Application Certification from Microsoft,

I would like to know who should I contact in regards to an erroneous analysis of our application.

We received a Non-compliant issue and we have a week to fix it. However, whoever tested the application did not understand that it is behaving as expected.

In all our games, the exit button is a Flag (like you are giving up). However, the tester clicked the Flag button and "the application terminates silently". That is the expected behavior.

When the Back button is pressed, we provide a popup with the option to close the application, if you press the icon again, we close the popup. Something similar to ESC key for a PC. They indicate that the application enters into a loop, which is not correct. It is by design. There is no loop if you decide to press Quit or any of the buttons on the screen.

Those should not violate any term or compliance. The tester simply didn't understand the application and assumed erroneously that it was not working.

Who should I contact in order to avoid being removed from the store?
