  • Hi Anand,

You can find out through the site Lifecycle Information for Microsoft Server Products and look for BizTalk 2004 (its edition, ectera).

  • Hi,

We also investigated this for my current customer. It turned out that support for BizTalk 2004 in general has stopped. There is a possibility to extend the support until 2014 but that will comes with a big fee.

My advice would be to upgrade to a supported version like BizTalk 2009. If you want the maximum support period and can wait a couple of months consider upgrading to BizTalk 2010 when it is released.

  • In general Microsoft provides 5 years of maintenance and 5 additional years of extended maintenance (security bug fixing). But you should try to have the lastest service pack installed at least.
