For example, the following two example URLs resolve to the sameIP address:

• abc.apps.com 200.100.1.22

• xyz.apps.com resolves to 200.100.1.22

• ccc.apps.com resolves to 200.100.1.22

There are about 15,000  subdomains in hosting. Instead ofcreating 15,000 DNS entries in the DNS server for zone to the server farm uses a wildcard DNS entry:

• *.appps.com resolves to 200.100.1.22

how to create subdomain in iis like using wild character can any one guide how to do this .

I was resolved the above issue by using concept called Wild Card Subdomain creation in IIS , it will help get above requirement . If you want to do wild card domain creation you need an dediated static ip server .
