SharePoint Designer versus Flow for Project RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is it possible to set up workflows using Flow and associated those workflows to an Enterprise Project Type (EPT) like we do with SharePoint Designer (2013)?  The latter provides the graphical representation of your workflow to be displayed on the project's main detail page (PDP).  Does Flow provide the same support for Project yet?

If you create a workflow using Flow for Project, will the workflow show up in the workflow drop-down in the EPT configuration page?

Answers

  • Spiro,

Flow currently does NOT support what we call the 'demand-management' workflow structure, meaning you cannot work with Stages/Phases and PDPs.

So, the answer to almost all of your questions is no, unfortunately.
