16 Colors Posterization RRS feed

  • Last April, I had published on this forum, a program to make a posterization from a picture black and white or color.
    Here is a version more rapid and improved program.
    The end result is a 16 posterized colors, the color palette is displayed to the right of the screen.
    The 16 colors are selected randomly, although some values such as black and white are out of these random limits.
    Also, I've added a count in % of the percentage of the image processed.

    The process takes about 20 seconds.

    each run gives surprises colors, they are never identical.

    i see the speed gain is all in this line:

     D = 1+Math.Floor(RVB/48)

    very interesting !
