Domain verification on a private network RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I've created a testing purpose application and it requires domain verification by placing a txt file at the root directory of our website, unfortunately our domain can't be reached from outside of our network.

Could it be possible to have a verification link so that our application could be set as "Verified" ?

    App ID : 0000000048043E3C

    Thanks in advance,

    Best regards.

  • You're only required to complete domain verification before you change your application's status to Published.

I'm able to create and test fully-functioning Messenger Connect applications inside of my network without domain verification. For example, if you follow the steps in the "Getting Started Sample for ASP.NET" at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff748287.aspx or the "Getting Started Sample with PHP" at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg276466.aspx, neither of these samples require domain verification in order to create and test them.
