  • Hi Guys,,

    May be some one can help me,
    I wanna make a simple ticketing program using ms.access

    I want to make a button that function is :
    - Print a form 3 times, with one click button only
    - The 3 forms is printed with different ID and automatically generated
    - And in my database is record 3 ticket have been purchased

    My Table is contain with column :
    - ID (with auto number)
    - Purchased ( as problem is 3 tickets)
    - SUM ( Sum of 3 tickets)

    If it doesn't matter what the ID numbers look like, you can use the autonumber field for that.

    Normally, you would create three separate records (one for each ticket purchased) for that. Otherwise, trying to search the table for a specifc ticket would get harder if you store the three ticket numbers in one field.

    Also, storing the SUM of the tickets in the table is usually not recommended. If you store the tickets in separte records with their prices, you can easily get the SUM anytime you need it using a Totals query.
