Foreign Government Accessibility RRS feed

  • Question

  • I represent a U.S Government contractor looking to host a set of SharePoint servers with Azure. The SP servers must be accessible to foreign government clients outside the U.S.

Would it be feasible to buy an Azure Government cloud space to host the servers in a DoD complaint environment while still retaining the foreign client's ability to access them? Both U.S Government and foreign government data will be hosted on these sites.

  • From Microsoft Azure point of view, I don't believe there is any issues.

I think that only issue could be are those foreign governments fine keeping their data outside their country and/or in US government environment.
