• Question

  • Hello,

Iv'e noticed the new RDSTLS PDUs in the docs.

I wondered if you can tell when / under which conditions they're being used?

I never saw them passing on the wire between Windows implementations.

Are they suppose to replace the logon data being transferred in Client Info PDU ?

  • Hi Idan:
RDTLS PDUs are used in server redirection scenario. Server redirection is described in detail in the following sections of the MS-RDPBCGR document:
    1. Section "1.3.8 server Redirection" provides a general description.
    2. Section " RDTLS Security" describes the connection sequence.
    3. Section "2.2.17 RDTLS PDUs" describes the various PDUs used in RDTLS protocol.

Please let me know if this does not answer your question.
