report viewer not showing up in vb 2010 express controls RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I have installed the Report Viewer 2010 redist. as the express edition of vb 2010 doesn't have it. How do I get this control in the toolbox in VB2010 express. It doesn't show up anywhere in the .net references.

Also if we design the reports using Report Builder 3.0 do they work with vb 2010 express? (Using SQL Server CE for backend)

We required this for a college project.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

Express versions of VisualStudio not available in
    the report templates.

You have to be in possession of more advanced versions to express to
    as the professional version.

    Hello

  • Search more.  There is a work around on Connect.  It's fairly recent.
