Retrieve the sharepoint calendar name from the calendar URL RRS feed

    Can  anyone help me to know how can we find a Sharepoint calendar name from the calendar URL?

    However i could resolve the issue. Here is the solution:

    To fetch the calendar name from the calendar URL, we can use the lists webservice#getCollection, and send the site url(derived from the calendar URL) as the param.

    In the response of the above, we get all the lists and the calendar info.

    Try to perform a association of the calendar URL and the response calendar URLs, the needed calendar name is the title of the matching node.

  • Hi VenkatDSS,

     

    To my knowledge, it is not feasible to get the calendar name from the calendar URL. If you need to get the name of a calendar, you can use the calendar’s list id to get its name.
