How do you use the LINQ DynamicQuery library RRS feed

All replies

  • Hi mutlyp,

It's a bit confusing because they refer to it as a library when no DLL is available. The blog provides two links under the section "Downloading the LINQ Dynamic Query Library", one for VB and one for C#. In that file you'll find the needed file here: \LinqSamples\DynamicQuery\DynamicQuery\Dynamic.cs. You'll be able to use the library by simply adding that file to your project and using/importing System.Linq.Dynamic.

  • HI Tyler,

    Thank you for the response.

    I found the Dynamic.vb in VS 2008 RTM VBSamples\VB2008 RTM Samples\Language Samples\LINQ Samples\DynamicQuery

but as soon as I put in in my ".WEB" part of my silverlight application it starts to give me errors in my ".edmx"

    Like

"Globalization is not a member of System"

    OR

"data in not a memeber of System"

As soon as I remove the Dynamic.vb from the .Web it removes the errors.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Please help.

    Thank you
