web.config for wizard-created service on IIS RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have created a wcf service and the GetData(..) originally created by visual studio works as expected when I run it locally.

When I copy it to IIS, it fails.
I understand that my problem is in the config file, but I am hard pressed to get a working config file.

Once I have a working config file on IIS, I think I get adapt it to my purposes.

Does anyone have a primitive working web.config file that runs with IIS 7.0, .NET 4.5?

  • Hi,kirkwood

You could refer to the following.

This topic outlines the basic steps required to create a Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) service that is hosted in Internet Information Services (IIS).
