I followed the instruction of setting the Firefox browser in VS 2015 as the default browser view the website. I also clicked the "Set as Default" button. HOWEVER, when I open the website from the IIS, and clicked "Browse Website", It directly triggered the Microsoft Edge to open the website. So How to deal with that so I also let the IIS browse website to use the Firefox only for this specific website??

    Hi alihusain_77,

This is just for the Visual Studio, your system default browser setting will not be affected by this.

The web server has no control over what browsers will access your website.

It is basically your windows setting that which browser is your default browser. You can follow Mgebhard's advice.

Your question has nothing to do with ASP.NET.  You question is related to using Windows.

Did you read the Firefox support link and follow the instructions Setting Firefox as the default browser does not work - What to do?

Perhaps the IIS application you are trying to open is not configured correctly and Edge is loading due the file extension association in Windows.
