How can I use WindowsFormsSynchronizationContext in a different AppDomain? RRS feed

  • Question

  • How can I use a SynchronizationContext across AppDomains?  Specifically I want to use the WindowsFormsSynchronizationContext from another AppDomain.  However, it's not MarshalByRef or Serializeable, so it doesn't look like there's a way to do this directly.  Do I have to come up with my own solution?

    Thanks

  • Hi dsplaisted,

So far as I know, you cannot use it crossing the bound of appdomain.

But I’d like to know what exactly you want to achieve.

    Thanks!
