Windows 8 in-app purchases with PayPal SDK RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi everybody!

In our company we are developing Windows 8 application, and we found that there is no way to implement consumable in-app purchases with Store API in Windows 8 (we need to selling packages of gold to user). Therefore we are trying to implement it with Windows 8 PayPal SDK, but I can't find any documentation about how to implement it. We have Flash version of our app on facebook and it works fine with PayPal(we use button id for specify package for buying). There is BuyNow class in Windows 8 PayPal SDK, but it doesn't provide way to specify package which user want to buy.

Where can I find any description about how to implement it with C#/XAML?

  • You'll need to talk to PayPal for details on their API.

Consumable purchases were added to the store API in Windows 8.1. See Enable in-app purchase of consumables
