  • Hi Eng.Sarah

LEX files are not plain text - Fumei is mistaken and is probably thinking of the custom dictionary files (*.cod). LEX files are binary and proprietary and, as far as I know, you cannot access their content.

  • LEX files are usually plain text files, and can be edited as such.

  • Does that mean that if i try to add some words or spellings to the file , it will work normally ??

When i open the file , i find characters and strings of a non-recognized format , i tried different encodings using text editors but nothing works with me
