How to add digicert as trusted certificate in wokflow manager RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am trying to configure windows azure workflow for SharePoint 2013. Instead of auto generate certificate i am planning to use digicert certificate. But i am totally lost in this matter. Few confusion

    - For requesting digicert for workflow manager , how would you generate CSR that you would normally do for other sites ( done through IIS)

    - If CSR is not needed , only digicert high assurance ev root is needed then how you point Workflow manager setup to pick it up from trusted root certification (by default it is pointed to Localmachine\pesonal store with just forefront identity manager and w3svc option?

Please help. Any help will be appreciated. Also is there any implication in production or any environment if you use auto generated certificate. Will it cause problems caused by self generated certificate in IIS (trust issue )?

  • No reply yet. Has no one used any type of certificate for Workflow manager other than auto generated?
