  • What error do you get?  and have you already installed the Windows Mobile 6.0 Standard SDK?
    It takes all the running you can do to stay in one place.If you want to get somewhere else,you must try to run at least twice as fast as that.

  • You've not said what error you were getting when you try to install it.

    BTW: There's no need to put today's date in your signature. The messages are automatically time stamped.

  • Please be as precise as possible: which file did you download (where)? Do you have already Visual Studio installed? Which version? Does this happen to other PCs? And so on..

    HTH!

  • hi

    I download Windows Mobile 6 Professional SDK Refresh.msi and Windows Mobile 6 Standard SDK Refresh.msi.

    I have installed Visual Studio 2005 professional.

    I change to another PC on WindowsXP and repeat to do it.

    I got the same result and error message.

    Where did you download the SDK file? Do you download it from following link:

  • Hi Frankie, you should provide details to get efficient help: please take some time to write your reply with specific answers. Please check the following:

    - PC: Windows 7 --> every updates installed?
    - Dev: Visual Studio 2005 Professional --> SP1 installed?
    - SDKs:
     * WM6.5.3 DTK Standard: successfully installed
     * WM6 SDK Standard: ERROR
     * WM6 SDK Professional: ERROR
     * WM6.5.3 DTK Professional: ERROR
    - The same happens on a different PC (running Windows XP --> every updates installed?)
    - You made sure that you downloaded the WM6 SDKs (Standard and Professional) from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=06111A3A-A651-4745-88EF-3D48091A390B&displaylang=en, and the file "Windows Mobile 6.5.3 Professional DTK.msi" from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=c0213f68-2e01-4e5c-a8b2-35e081dcf1ca.

    What's exactly the error message? To get it, when the error-dialog is displayed (and has focus), please press CTRL+C to copy its content, and paste it in your reply.

    HTH!
