There is no SettingsFlyout item in VS to add to my Store App project RRS feed

Answers

  • I found the answer - my Windows Store App is targeted for Windows 8. The Settings Flyout is only when the project is targeted for Windows 8.1.

  • Hi JefffRozar,

Basically in Win8.0 App, we could do something make it looks like a Setting Flyout.

Take a look at the third scenario from sample App settings sample (Windows 8) in Windows 8 app samples  package, you should be able to find that we could do almost the same thing.

    Hope it helps you.
