DirectX as opposed to Unity3D RRS feed

  • Question

  • If I learn to write C# Physics in Unity3D, is that something entirely different than writng C# Physics in DirectX?

Say I write my own physics in DirectX....... would it not be applicable at all in Unity3D?

I am writing my own Physics, as of now, on a Unity3D project and wanted to try things out in VS first before I put it all into Unity.

  • The APIs are entirely different, as you should have been able to tell.  The concepts are similar, they are just spelled differently.  If you intend to dive into Unity, then you probably want to start with Unity.
