Try this formula
=IF(closed=0,"N/A",TEXT(closedCreated,"h:mm"))
Also for future references on different common calculations, refer to the link below:

hi,
i used the formula that jennifer gives me but i have another question about this
=IF(closed=0,"N/A",TEXT(closedCreated,"h:mm"))
in my field closed (calculated field) stays the closed date and time
else it is "No"
when i change the formula to
=IF(closed=No,"N/A",TEXT(closedCreated,"h:mm"))
then it gives me an error
"The formula refers to a column that does not exist. Check the formula for spelling mistakes or change the nonexisting column to an existing column."
is this syntax wrong?
thanks

Hi,
Don't you need to have the value No within quotation marks since it's a string? Like this: =IF(closed="No","N/A",TEXT(closedCreated,"h:mm")) Proposed as answer by Mattias J Karlsson Friday, January 9, 2009 2:12 PM
