Omission at,%20version%201709 RRS feed

  • Question

has an egregious omission.  The Jan 2018 revision to Windows Server 2016 fails to state that the release does NOT support full-GUI.  In my environment I require full-GUI.  I got a new computer at the same time I downloaded the aforementioned revision.  For a while I blamed the new computer until Microsoft employees disclosed the sorry state of the release.  I recommend that Microsoft will with all deliberate speed do one of two things:  1) Put a full-GUI release in place of the current release or, 2) Splash a red message on the web page (address shown above) to warn subscribers away from using it if they want full-GUI.  Thank you.
