Can't send mails through app service RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have an application on azure, and are trying to send a mail using sendgrid. I am albe to connect to the server and send a mail using telnet, but when I run the application, i get this error:

Mailbox unavailable. The server response was: Unauthenticated senders not allowed

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.Net.Mail.SmtpException: Mailbox unavailable. The server response was: Unauthenticated senders not allowed

I have the cridentials in the config file, and everything seems to be correct. Is there a problem between azure and sendgrid/smtp servers? I also tried using another smtp, and it still didn't work.
