How to add static text to HTML Client footer? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I would like to add static text, such as a copyright, to the footer of each screen (floated left to keep away from any buttons).  If possible I would like to bake this into the msls templateStrings or somewhere so it is not necessary to call a function in the created method of every screen.  Does anyone have a slick way of doing this?

    Thanks.

  • Hi Hessc,

    Never tried to do that before but looking in the msls script:

    "screenFooterTemplate":
        '<div class="msls-footer" data-role="footer" data-position="fixed" data-track-persistent-toolbars="false"' +
           ' data-update-page-padding="false"' +
           ' data-tap-toggle="false" >' +
        '<span>HELLO</span></div>',

    That says 'HELLO' on every screen so it looks to be possible.
