  • Question

  • Hello,

I'm currently working with Azure DataFactory and I am looking to include Azure Batch.
Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with programming c#.

Is it possible to program jobs / tasks in Powershell?
Where would be a good place to find examples?

    Kr and thx in advance,

    Florian

  • Hi Florian,

Yes, there is a PowerShell SDK for Azure Batch.  You can download the latest Azure PowerShell release from here: https://github.com/Azure/azure-powershell/releases

The latest .msi should install all Azure PowerShell modules.  The specific one you want to use is AzureRM.Batch.

Here's the help link for the Batch cmdlets: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/azure/mt125957.aspx.  Each cmdlet should have a basic example in its docs to help you get started.

Let us know if you have further questions.
