DLM(Dynamically Linkable Modules) in Windows8? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Are the DLM modules similiar to the Shared library concept in the Android.Shared library concept is generaly in the Android where we can build a shared library independednt of the Android framework (correct)for a particular hardware and adb push it via USB or via fastboot utility via USB and test it with rest of the Android framework and can check how the framework is behaving with the Library and hence the Hardware. I wanted to know is there a similiar thing in the windows 8,Does it support for DLM means teh same as ability to build the shared libarary (dll in this case) and push it to the windows device and test it.I know its an android framework group but your views/help on DLM support in windows will help a lot to me in my understanding. What is DLM and is it similiar to shared Library? What is the extension of DLM files and how they differ/similar to Android Shared library. Are the DLM and dll same thing.
