Using Dism to install IIS RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,
I have a WES7 image which doesn't include IIS component.
I use DISM to install IIS component to WES7.
    I type command:
    dism /online /add-package /packagepath:d:\winemb-iis.cab

After install completed,I restart the system.

    However,I found two problems.
    1 .I open service control manager,but I can't find Microsoft FTP service.
    2. I can open IIS manager,but I can't open IIS 6.0 manager.

Before I install IIS component, I also have checked component dependency and this image doesn't need other components.

However,if I use answer file(include IIS) to create new WES7 image, there are no these two problems.

I don't want to rebuild my image, so I want to use dism to update it.
Is there a way to solve my problem?

    Thanks

  • You have to re-apply the language pack to the image since all feature packages are language independent.
