    1. Run this PowerShell command to export the current App Fabric configuration: Export-CacheClusterConfig -File c:\CurrentClusterConfig.xml
    2. Modify the cachehostname entry to be the actual server name instead of the shortened netbios name
    3. For example: cacheHostName=”AppFabricCachingService” name=”SPDEV13LongServer”
    4. Run the following powershell command to import the updated config with the long server name: Import-CacheClusterConfig -File c:\CurrentClusterConfig.xml
    5. Double check your work by running the PowerShell cmdlet get-cachehost
    6. Reprovision the  Distributed Cache on the server with the long name using the following PowerShell commands:

    Remove-SPDistributedCacheServiceInstance
    Add-SPDistributedCacheServiceInstance

  • Hi ghsajith,

    Appearing these 2 events (event 1026 and event 1000 ) in the viewer have many reasons ,a reason releated the permissions of the distributed cache service account, a reason releated to changes in hosts files, but i noticed something different in the screenshots you've attached here , one of the messages says "System.Net.Sockets" , That means you need to check the cahce service ports if they are allowed cross the firewall or not.

    let me summurize what i said above with troubleshooting tips ,

    1- Check if the distributed cache service account has the right permisisons , and it is added to the right groups .

    have a look on

    2- may be the distribued cache service Port aren't allowed through the firewall. you must check this case

    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee790914(v=azure.10).aspx

    3- execute Use-CacheCluster and Get-CacheHost to check the status and the servers name of the cache hosts. may be it is a problem of DNS and you need to edit the hosts file with fully qualified name.

  • The issue seems to be the third point.

    The highlighted domain name (CWAD) is changed to another domain.

    How to change the account and name of the hosts detail.

  • i recommend you to Remove and add the instance again

    Remove-SPDistributedCacheServiceInstance

    Then
    Add-SPDistributedCacheServiceInstance

    Also , FYI , you can change the distributed cache service account by executing the following PowerShell command
       $Farm=Get-SPFarm
        $CacheService=$Farm.Services | Where {$_.Name -eq "AppFabricCachingService"}
        $Accnt = Get-SPManagedAccount -Identity Domain\ServiceAccount
        $CacheService.ProcessIdentity.CurrentIdentityType = "SpecificUser"
        $CacheService.ProcessIdentity.ManagedAccount = $Accnt
        $CacheService.ProcessIdentity.Update()
