Combining two different unique identifiers on the same master table and get different results for the master description field RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am trying to combine two unique identifiers from two different tables with one master table. Both of the unique identifiers pull back different descriptions when joined with the master. Is there a way for me to be able to join both unique tables with the master and pull back the two different pieces of description information?

    Thanks for your help!!

  • Hi channylallz,

Do you mean that you want to use identity columns to join two tables? It depends on your requirements and table design. Please share more information about these two tables and the result you want.

If anything is misunderstood, please tell me.

    Best Regards
