Unable to locate <product key> in unattend file

    Question

  • I've tried 32/64bit.  Both are apparently looking for an unattended install file, which I am of course not using (that I know of).

    Anyone able to fix this?

  • Hi,

Are you trying to install Win8 into VMware VM Machine?
If it's so, you have to install Windows choosing custom settings, select you're going to install the os later and in that way it works.

You can also install it into a VirtualBOX VM.

  • Several people in this thread seem to be having success with product key problems with redownloading the ISO and reburning. Some are having success by clicking skip.  Does this sound like what you are seeing?

Please Let us know how that works out.
