How can I send WOL to a RemoteServer with MacAddress?

  • According to the Wikipedia article for Wake-On-Lan, it looks like you just need to send a UDP packet on the wire. The standard datagram socket sample should get you started.

    Your biggest problem is likely to be that the MAC address isn't exposed at all in the Windows Runtime API set.

  • I found maybe 10 different projects searching Google.

    Here's the code for doing it in a console app.  You'll just have to mix the datagram code for the phone with the packet generation code on this sample.
