WEC7,RAS, Sierra Wireless USB-Serial modem problem RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all, i'm stuck on that issue: WEC7 device with usb gprs modem,
    dial up connection configured.
    Connect/disconnect remote connection working fine.
Then, power off usb modem, and after 5 seconds power on it.
The driver is correctly unloaded and reloaded.
The registry key under HKLM\Drivers\Active is correctly recreated.
COM3: and COM4: ports comunication is functioning. In the terminal programm I can send AT commands to the modem ,

If I try querying modem port with standard AT commands, I always receive replies from it.

BUT...if I try to reopen the dial up connection, I got "The modem is
not plugged in or is out of service. Connect a modem to your computer
    and try again".

How can I handle that? Is there any service to  stop/start/restart/reset to make connection working again WITHOUT
    rebooting my device?

    thanks, Armen
