  • Hi for all

    can some one explain how the North wind database build  it's table and query and the form , report, relationships

  • It's true. But then again, if you don't understand the business model, a sample database application might not make any sense either. I think the business model selected for Northwind was chosen because most people will be familiar with it.

  • Hi,

    Do you have a specific question? The Northwind database was built just any other databases. There was a business model and entities were identified and translated into tables. Business rules were then translated into queries, forms, and reports.

    So, if you're building a database, you'll have to identify the business model and rules before you start creating your first table.
