Logging in Azure Function, propagated to ADF RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is there a way to propagate logging in Azure Functions, via AppInsight logs, to be propagated to ADF, once Azure functions are complete? Atleast, a link/ tracking ID maybe - a documented way to support this would be useful?

  • Hi

Could you provide the requirement in detail.

Basically, we can allow Azure Functions to enable logging.

And, Azure Data Factory to enable logging.

  • Hello Abin ,

Just to clarify a bit more . if you are using application insight , you can always export the captured data to blob . Once the data is in blob you can use the ADF to read that . The below link does talk about the stream analytics and other things , but if you have the data in blob ( which it talks about ) you can achieve the goal .

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/app/code-sample-export-sql-stream-analytics

Please do let me know how it goes .

    Thanks Himanshu
