WinCE6: How to move Windows to the center of LCD screen RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have a 640*480 LCD panel,  I modified the LCD driver as follow,

     - Frame buffer size = 1024 * 1024

     - Allocate Surface to 640 * 480

     - Specify Windows resolution to 320 * 240.

When WinCE6 OS boots up, it only occupies 1/4 of LCD screen (upper left corner).

Is it possible to move the Windows to the center of LCD screen?

    Thanks.

  • You have to offset the x1,y1 coordinate from (0,0) to (160,120)

In your display register setting specify the start pixel location from (0,0) default to (160,120)

You can achieve this by setting the source or destination window settings.

What is the processor that you are using ?

Check the processor data sheet for Display module and its settings for destination window settings.

If you need to modify the source rectangle then you need to offset the framebuffer data pointer by (160*120*bpp) and then fill the frame buffer.

    Hope this will help.
