share sql server with different system RRS feed

  • Hi,

           I have installed SQL Server 2008 Management Studio (Express Edition).I want to know how can i share my sql server with different system so other people can use my Sql Server. we are working in LAN system.So we can share the sql server from one syetm.

    Please tell me any idea about this.

  • Make sure that SQL Server Browser is running.... Enable TCP protocols,configure SQL Server to accept remote connections

  • And probably create logins for the other users. And perhaps create databases on the SQL Server for the others to own and use.
