  • I use Entity Framework 4.0/4.5. Today I just created a new table and add a new column in another table. To make my code working, should I update the dll? How?

    No , there is no update of dll . Just go to EF designer -> right pane -> Table/View -> right click ->Select : Update model from databse.

    Let me know if problem persists .

    Welcome to the MSDN forum.

    Which approach do you use? Database first? Model first? Or code first?

    If you use Database first, please try to update entities from database by right clicking on edmx designer then choosing Update Model from Databse…

    If you use Model first, please right click on edmx designer and choose Generate Database from Model…
