  • Hi,

If you use cloud services, you can refer to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg443832.aspx to see how to enable remote desktop. But please note changing password using RDP does not work in general for web roles. It is recommended to use a startup task to modify the password, so when you redeploy the app or add a new instance, it is not needed to RDP to the new instance again.

    Ming Xu.

  • Hi,

What Azure services are you using to host the website?

If you are using Web Roles, toy will have to re-deploy or update the deployment to allow RDP connections. If you are using Azure Websites, you cannot use Remote Desktop.

    Regards,

    Alan

  • We have "Windows Azure MSDN - Visual Studio Ultimate"

Kindly let us know whether we can have RDP for this subscription.. If not provide the details (or link) where we can go for an option of WEB ROLES to access RDP
