Is there any way I can split multiple data columns RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am in the process of building an Aggregate Data Dictionary and am using Excel for the Aggregate. I have a Data Column that I am referencing in my spreadsheet and their are multiple references to that data column that I am documenting like Foreign Key Table and Foreign Key Column. In this specific case it is an Inventory Item ID that is referenced in multiple other Foreign Key Tables. So I'd like to nicely split the Foreign Key Cells so that there appears like multiple rows in that row for those specific columns.

Is there any easy way to do this in Excel?

Thanks for your review and am hopeful for a reply.

  • Hi ITBobbyP,

Could you share a sample file via cloud storage such as OneDrive, Dropbox, etc?
That will be helpful to make a solution, to shorten my time.
