Configuration Error in Config File

  • For the last few days now I have been working on tring to get my .net 2 framework to start working, but I seem to be hoping from one error to the next.

    I started with "Server Application Unavailable" error.  I searched the web on how to solve this problem and I found this site.  The problem seemed to be solved  when I set the proper permissions along with changing the following line in the machine.config file:

     <processModel autoConfig="true"/>

    <processModel userName="system" password="AutoGenerate" />

    However, once I did that and restarted iis, I now get a new error.

    Server Error in '/' Application.
