  • Hi WD,

Can you give us more information?  What version of Win 10?  I noticed a WriteError, did you attempt to install the app on top of a previous install?  Did you try a simple new application?  Did you look up the activity ID specified in the error?

  • Hi Jeff,

Thanks foe your reply. To your questions :

    1. The build number is 10041, so, it should be the latest Win10 Preview.

    2. It's a clean install. I tried to install the app on two different devices with win10 10041 installed, both failed with the error info.

    3. Yes, I created a app just from VS template, the same error occurred.

    4. Sorry, what do you mean the 'activity ID' ?

What's more, I was able to install the app package on build 9xxx.

    Thanks,

    Dong.

    Hi Jeff,

In fact, i did what the log ask me to do, but that was no help :

The log told me "See   http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=235160 for help diagnosing app  deployment issues. ", the error number is 0x80073CF9.  Go to that web page, it asked to check event logs "AppXDeployment-Server > Microsoft-Windows-AppXDeploymentServer/Operational.".

I did that and just find the DETAILED info like this :
