Is it possible to capturing the "Send" event inside a Form Region on Outlook? RRS feed

  • Hi,

    i created an Outlook Add-In which add a Form Region to the Appointment. this form region contain 2 text boxes (Ex: txt1 and txt2). user can fill these 2 text boxes while he us creating the Appointment Request. my requirement is i want to inject the Values of these 2 Textboxes to the Body of the Appointment Request when user click the Send Button, there for i need to capture the Send Button Event from the Form Region Code. is there any way to do this ?

    Note: Outlook 2010, Visual Studio 2010

  • best way would be to attach to ItemSend event on Application object (.Application property on almost any object in OOM) and there access MeetingReqest, call GetAppointment and access needed data (for example from user properties) and insert them into body of meeting request.
