How to set up VS project settings for shared XAML? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'd like to create a suite of apps, and to reduce duplicate code, I'd like to store certain files in a folder that each project can reference.  It works fine for .cpp and .h files, but I have problems with .xaml files.  It looks like what happens is that the generated .hpp files are being created with #includes that have a relative path to the generated .h file, but the path portion shouldn't be there.  For example:

    #include "..\..\Shared\IntroPage.xaml.h"

    should be:

    #include "IntroPage.xaml.h"

    Is there a setting I need to change somewhere, or will this directory structure not work?
