How to disable number detection in WebView Html?

Question

Hi,

In my application i have loaded html content in WebView. The html content is like

<p>P 12 3456 7890&nbsp;<img src="link for image"/></p> ..

when i click on the numbers, a popup is displayed with the number & with a option to 'Add contact'.. How can i avoid displaying this popup?

Hi PM16,

Sounds like the system treat your number as Phone numbers.

However I cannot reproduce it on Windows Store App, are you working for Windows Phone? (I don't have Windows Phone test environment off hand, I will test it when back to office)

I still cannot repro the issue on Windows Phone by the code you provided.
