Currency and Content Localization

I am building an e-commerce application. I have seen existing applications out there have the ability to choose the culture for both the currency and content.

Has someone actually ran into the need of doing so?

If a user specifys he wants to see the content in danish, why not just automatically show the curerny in krones?

I'm just trying to determine if there will be a need for seperate cultures for content and currency before I build my application recognizing only one culture for everything.

Any input is appreciated.
