How to drag a control on screen

    Question

  • Dear all,

I need to build an application where the user will have in a listbox which is bind to a collection of pictures.

What I am looking for under Windows 8 is the best way to be able to drag out a listboxItem( A picture) and drop it in the whole screen. Then the user can move freely the picture all around the screen, scale it in and out, rotate etc...

Any sample for that approach ?

    regards

NOTE: If I ask for code, please provide something that I can drop directly into a project and run (including XAML), or an actual application project. I'm trying to help a lot of people, so I don't have time to figure out weird snippets with undefined objects and unknown namespaces.
